In early August, 2018, Giant stepped back from their stance on 29-inch wheels and released an updated Trance 29. The new bike features geometry numbers similar to some all-mountain/enduro bikes, yet only has 115mm of rear wheel travel and 130mm up front. How did Giant do it, and why now?
