GIBA GORGE LAST RIDE

Today I decided to do all three trails as one. Started with the orange route(had to portage to the big falls), then into blue and finally the green trail. Seen as I had not done green before I must say I enjoyed it more than the other two. Although I must say that you need to keep your wits about you on the green trail. Some of those downhills are pretty knarly. How I did not see my proverbial ARSE today I do not know.('',). It was a bit disappointing that I had to carry my bike to the big falls(the one on the other side of the N3 bridge where you turn off the orange trail but the walk was worth the view). I slipped while going over the big stump and cut my knee on the back of the bike somewhere, (I think the disk brake) and bled like a stuck pig for about an hour. All in all a great day out on the bike and my only regret is that when I relocate to Joburg in November is that I have not cycled Giba enough times. Well I am sure that the bushveld?? will have plenty to offer that can live up to Giba Gorge, and Holla trails, and Karkloof. Next week I am going for my last ride at Karkloof. I will post the pics for any interested parties.
