Scapin Introduces Oraklo 29″, The Bike of the new Scapin Factory MTB Team
The new Scapin 29er bike, showed at the recent exhibition Expobici in Padua, is the choice of the new Elite Marathon Scapin Factory MTB Team.

Scapin is pleased to introduce the new Oraklo 29″.

Keeping up with current trends, Scapin launches its own version of the 29″er bikes. Approved by the UCI, the mountain bikes with “big wheels” are increasingly widespread in the United States and Europe, even in races.

The new Scapin Oraklo 29″ is made of monocoque carbon fiber UDM Toray T700, it is very light – the frame only weights 1,250g – and it is available with different types of equipments and colors. A tapered steerer, integrated gear-wires passage, press-fit movement, post-mount brake clips on the chain/stay, aggressive appeal, generous structure of the top and down tubes which are fused at the head tube, Oraklo offers the right mix of comfort, stiffness and design.

Scapin is also proud to announce the partnership with the Mtb Factory Team that takes now the name of Scapin Factory Team. The athletes will compete with Scapin ORAKLO 29” bikes, but also with other models, such as Vyrus and Murdok. For the team’s training, Scapin is offering the Blake 12K model.

The Scapin Factory Team aims, of course, to win the Scapin IMA, the most important Italian circuit of the Granfondo and Marathon mtb aces. However in the calendar list, there are also other international races.The list of athletes and commitments for 2012 is currently not definitive and we will give further information in the future press releases.
