This is to find out what you all think about helmets, designs, brands, popularity, etc, and for me, the big question, yes or no to helmets.

This group is for all riders in and around the Zululand area. We are fortunate to have the most diverse riding terrains available on our doorstep. This is meant to bring riders together, organise outrides and post trails and even advertise relevant events and activities etc.

A group for the Big wheel brigade. Those riding 29inch wheeled bikes, to brag and discuss their big steads.

Single Speed Riders, is for those riders who like their bikes simple and their riding exciting. Often laughed at in the parking lot but admired on the trail.

A group for all riders of the 2010 Sani2C. Hopefully everyone will share their training diary, route comments and generally anything to do with this year's Sani2C. If this works hopefully we can all make a plan to meet up at the end for a couple of beers in the tent!

Just a general group for riders in this area. We see each other in the passing every day. Some say hi some just wave.

Everyone in the Durban area must join. We can post rides and maybe meet up and do out rides somewhere. We have such nice places to ride and not everyone knows where they are.

We've all seen them on T.V. and some of us have even wanted to enter, if only for the costs and the fact that we need a race partner .. .. here's hoping that this group helps you either enter that race and / or find that partner.

Ok..so I keep looking at these really nice bikes at the LBS and when out at a event and I am tired of getting jealous! Unfortunately I cant afford to just go and buy my dream machine so I am going to have to shop around and try get the best bike for my budget. I am looking to spend around R15 000..must be full sus...XT or X9..and any additional extras will be appreciated :) Feel free to comment on the group

The OUTSURANCE KZN Expedition takes place on 22 Nov 2009. The 40 km route will take place from Inanda Dam to Suncoast Casino. I will be entering this event as the last official ride for 2009...was thinking it would be fun to get a group of MTBiker members to ride together.
