I've decided to create this group to find more downhill nuts out there. From where they hail, to where they ride, makes of bikes, etc. In fact anything about DH riders. I found that there are so few of us in SA and it would be cool to know who they all are and perhaps even get together and have some fun.

Hi all.. I see there are quite a lot of posts of rides/trails in the Garden Route Area.. Knysna /Plett.. I'm interested in some of these but also the less known backroads in the area, with the ability to ride loops from Plett. We ride there every Dec/Jan and I have logged plenty Garmin points. Would love to find people with more info on the area..

Ok..so I keep looking at these really nice bikes at the LBS and when out at a event and I am tired of getting jealous! Unfortunately I cant afford to just go and buy my dream machine so I am going to have to shop around and try get the best bike for my budget. A group for questions, comments and answers for those of us attempting the 2010 Hill2Hill MTB Race

This is for mostly beginner riders in the Hillcrest KZN area that would like to get together for a morning or afternoon ride during the week or on the weekend. Please let me know how many are intersted and what days of the week and times are convenient. If there is enough interest I may be able to get a more experienced, buy sympathetic rider to ride with us and show us some great routes in and around Hillcrest.

This is a group created to find out about what gear you use, latest products, stuff you have bought and generally anything that you would like to share about the kit you use when heading out on your bike.

Starting in Windhoek the route climbs the Khomas Hochland up to a level of 2000m above sea level. You'll pass through beautiful scenery with scattered thorn trees and high savanna grass, the only spectators kudu, springbuck and the odd oryx staring at you in the red African sunset. Navigating the sharp twists and turns of the descent, at one stage dropping 700m in only 10km, will be made even more difficult by the cold and darkness of a moonless ...

The OUTSURANCE KZN Expedition takes place on 22 Nov 2009. The 40 km route will take place from Inanda Dam to Suncoast Casino. I will be entering this event as the last official ride for 2009...was thinking it would be fun to get a group of MTBiker members to ride together. This group is for all riders in and around the Zululand area. We are fortunate to have the most diverse riding terrains available on our doorstep. This is meant to bring riders together, organise outrides and post trails and even advertise relevant events and activities etc.
