TOPIC: New on the block

New on the block 1 year, 5 months ago #1

Howzit.
Just got stuck into the MTBiker vibe and its great. My name is Devlin and although I myself am based in Durban, I have an MTB destination up near Clarens in the Free State. I have built a 40km route on our 1200 hectare farm (which is no longer a farm, just re-habing it to natural lands).
Not only do we have our trail, but there is amazing riding around us and in Lesotho.

We are right on the border of Lesotho and have some amazing riding, including awesome sandstone slickrock like Moab. Can you say GRIPPY.
As a biker, I race DH and love all-mountain riding.
Anyone one keen for a weekend, please get in touch and come out for a ride.

Anyone riding in Durban/PMB area, I am game to ride too.
Cheers.
Dev

HI Candz
Is that your place at Kelvin Grove? Seems like a cool spot.
Definitley let us know when you keen to ride. Its amazing how different it is to where you are, but so close really.

Flip that route sounds very cool. Been scoping routes in that direction but have got as far as Qwa Qwa before hitting lots of people. I know a way from Little Switzerland down into the Royal Natal valley too, then I guess you are on those district road that run through the foothills. Gotta track that man down.
