I know I'm going on about this place but to be honest, its the closet to me, that offers downhill entertainment as well as freeride thrills. To most this place doesn't look like much and doesn't seem to hold much, but for me, its like my second home. I kinda grew up in that veld, riding my BMX there when I was still little, with my friends, b4 it was ever build up or even thought of as a DH/Freeride track. Nestled nicely in the south of JHB, just off of the Xavier Rd off ramp, and only a 15min walk...

Cone rod dystrophy, what is that? Well, a quite a severe eye condition that can either leave one virtually blind or almost blind. No treatment is available, except for glasses. It involves, esp in my case, yup, I have this condition, extremely short sighted, color blind and very light sensitive. Its not the coolest things to have, and taking part in sports is very difficult, esp when it comes to competing against 'normal sighted' people.
