Why Pea Protein?
Boosts your before, during and after workout energy levels and helps your muscles recover after exercising - provides all the essential amino acids with an amino acid profile very close to highly acclaimed whey protein.
Provides a GMO free and allergen free source of protein avoiding potential allergen issues with commonly available whey, casein and soy proteins.
Provides large amounts of Glutamine and BCAA's (Branched Chain Amino Acids, which are the main amino acids required for muscle recovery and energy).
Provides an easily absorbable protein that's gentle on the stomach.
Provides the only soluble alkaline protein powder available, thus lowering your blood acidity.
Provides you with 100% pure protein from a natural source, that uses environment friendly growing, harvesting and production processes - A mild, proprietary mechanical process with water delivers the raw pea protein with high nutritional value and undamaged enzymes to aid digestion and absorption.
Pea protein's essential amino acid profile is very close to ideal for human nutrition, as recommended by world health organisations UN-FAO and WHO.
Studies show that pea protein has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral and antibacterial properties, thus boosting your immune system which is an important part of the recovery process and fending off illness, especially during multi-day events.

leona created a new topic ' where to start?! africa trip-pre epic-help!' in the forum.Sorry, I'm not sure were i should have posted this if not here. Its a bit of an usual one.
I can't say that any part of africa was high on my list of places to go. not for any real reason just not in my top 3.
I was invited to ride the cape epic this year which i obviously couldnt turn down.
from the minute i landed in cape town airport, the whole place just completely blew my mind.
i had 3 wonderful weeks (despite crashing out of the race with a broken rib) and was so miserable to be coming home to cold, wet england.
i will be 30 this year and have realised that i need to get out and travel a bit. I am doing the epic 2014 so obviously keeping up my riding through the winter (our winter) and into the start of the year is vital. i really want to come back to south africa, ideally for 6 months from october.
I know a few people but not really anyone to ride with and have looked into the possibility of getting a work visa so that i could get some work in a bike shop and meet people that way (i work in the industry here).
this is pretty much impossible so im now left trying to figure out a way of doing it. i would obviously like to see more of the country than the tiny bit i saw but i know i cant just go off on my own like i would in the uk and a lot of the places ive been.
what i suppose i want to know is am i likely to be able to find plenty of clubs/people to ride with assuming people tend not to ride alone so much and also, are there places where it really is safe to ride alone?
i have friends in hermanus but really the riding seems a bit rubbish round there and its pretty boring for more than a week.
i was thinking to maybe try to get some unpaid stuff in bike shops etc for the same reason id have liked paid but not sure how viable that will be.
any suggestions would be great, sorry this is so long but im just dying to come back out and id really like to make the most of that pre epic time.
